NCL Santa Breakfast

Norfolk Community League Presents Santa Breakfast and Jingle Bell Fun Run

Join the Norfolk Community League for their annual Santa Breakfast on Saturday, December 8th, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the H. Olive Day School on Main Street. Your admission includes a continental breakfast with Santa and entertainment by Mrs. Claus. Children will be able to have their picture taken with Santa Claus for $2 or for free with a donation of basic health items to New Hope Women's and Children's shelter ( i.e. bath towels all sizes, toothpaste, brushes, soap, shampoo/conditioner, kitchen/bath cleaning products, laundry detergent, toiletries, twin/baby bedding sheets and blankets, diapers, baby wipes/powder and new infant/children clothing). A box to collect additional donated goods will be set up at the breakfast.

There will also be craft activities for the entire family, including making a red, white, and blue paper chain (in honor of the victims of September 11th) for the Norfolk Town Christmas Tree. We will also be raising money for the replacement of the sign at H. Olive Day School by making ornaments for $1. Tickets are $4 for NCL members, $5 for non-members, children under 2 are free. This is popular event has sold out in previous years. To reserve your tickets, send a check made payable to NCL to NCL, P.O. Box 450, Norfolk, MA 02056 Attn.: Santa Breakfast. Immediately following the Santa Breakfast will be a 5K Jingle Bell Run/Walk and 1/4 mile Kids Run sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts in Norfolk. The 3.1 mile Fun Run will begin at 11 AM and the kids races will begin at 11:45 AM. Registration is $15 per adult and $5 for children. You may pick up registration forms at the Norfolk Public Library or Linda?s Variety on Main St. in Norfolk. Registration on December 8, 2001 will be from 9:30 AM ? 10:45 AM. This event will benefit Norfolk Together, a non-profit organization offering emergency financial assistance to Norfolk residents.

All entrants will receive bells for their shoes and are encouraged to dress in warm holiday attire while getting into the spirit of the season! The first 100 entrants will receive a free pair of running gloves. Please mail your registration forms with checks made out to Norfolk Community League, Attn.: Jingle Bell Run, P.O.
