PAMELA RUBY RUSSELL and Her HIGHWAY OF DREAMS
Songstress, Photographer

Making honest music and photographs that uplift and enlighten is what Ms. Pamela strives for. There are no strangers and life is short, dealing us tough cards at times. "Playing those hands wisely with generosity and compassion," Ms. Ruby says, "helps us move through our time together on this planet with grace in profound and useful ways. It is about joy! With all I've seen in my life, what I've learned must be worth sharing! That's why I sing! And besides, it is fun!"

Pamela Ruby Russell, a long time community activist who has recently moved to Norfolk, has done everything from owning her own restaurant on the Cape to riding an elephant in a Mexican circus and reading Tarot cards in Spanish and designing jewelry on the beach on St. Barths. Besides having managed, recorded and performed with her own eclectic rock and cabaret bands for years, she is also an accomplished photographer. Ms. Ruby is a two time BILLBOARD Magazine award winning songwriter and has produced and recorded her own independent CD, HIGHWAY OF DREAMS along with guitarist Peter Calo, who performs with Carly Simon and is now on Broadway in HAIRSPRAY.
