Oklahoma! May 18-May 20 Photo by Stephen Lathrop Bay Colony Productions at the Orpheum Theatre, Foxboro will be presenting the final weekend of the musical Oklahoma! by Rogers and Hammerstein. OKLAHOMA! marked a revolution in musical drama, setting standards still followed today. Set in Western Indian Territory in 1906 and based on the play Green Grow the Lilacs by Oklahoman Lynn Riggs, Oklahoma! tells the story of the romance of cowboy Curly McLain (Dave DaCosta - Attleboro, MA) and farmer girl Laurey Williams (Nicole DaCosta - Attleboro, MA, real life husband and wife!) as their love is challenged by the threatening farmhand, Jud Fry (Jim Ansart - Jamaica Plain, MA). A cast full of memorable characters such as Aunt Eller (Mary Beth Murphy - W. Roxbury, MA), Ado Annie (Katherine Joy - Brockton, MA), Will Parker (Michael Warner - Holbrook, MA), and Ali Hakim (Ray O'Hare - Quincy, MA) bring this story to life.
